Therapy for Anxiety & Depression
You may be experiencing:
- persistent worry or overthinking
- panic or anxiety attacks
- low mood or emotional numbness
- burnout or exhaustion
- loss of confidence or self-worth
- feeling disconnected from others
- difficulty coping with daily life
- feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or hopeless
Feelings of anxiety and depression can become overwhelming when they begin to dominate your emotional world. You may find yourself stuck in cycles of worry, hopelessness, exhaustion, self-criticism, or disconnection from yourself and others. At times, it can feel difficult to see a way forwards.
Anxiety can leave you feeling constantly on edge, overthinking, emotionally drained, or unable to fully rest. Depression can bring a sense of heaviness, numbness, loneliness, or loss of meaning. Often, people experience both together — alongside uncertainty, shame, or ambivalence about asking for help.
Counselling & psychotherapy offers a space to slow things down and gently make sense of what you are experiencing at your own pace. Rather than pushing difficult feelings away or trying to “fix” them quickly, therapy can help you begin to understand them with greater compassion and clarity.
In therapy you can explore the patterns, experiences, relationships, and emotional burdens that may be contributing to your distress. Over time, therapy can help you feel more connected to yourself, more emotionally supported, and better able to navigate life with steadiness and self-understanding.
Being alongside another person who can safely hold what feels difficult or overwhelming can, in itself, be deeply therapeutic.
Sometimes the first step is simply having somewhere safe enough to begin. If you would like to explore whether therapy could support you, you are welcome to get in touch.
