About me
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I have a degree in Psychology and experience working to support clients for many years.
I believe it is important to uphold a high level of care and confidentiality and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework. I work with a supervisor to ensure that professional standards are maintained in my work and regularly undertake continuing professional development.
Practice description
Clients come to counselling with me for a range of experiences such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, problems with sex and intimacy, trauma, grief, bereavement, food and body image issues, self-doubt, intrusive thoughts, family conflict, questions about sense of self, identity and sexuality, as well as addiction, anger, pressure and intrusive or suicidal thoughts.
I work with a psychodynamic approach; psychodynamic counselling recognises the importance of unconscious thoughts and feelings, which may present themselves through dreams, or through the relationship between the two of us in the room. As needed, we may also discuss simple techniques to help manage overwhelming feelings that occur outside the counselling room, so you can feel better equipped to cope at difficult times.

Please contact me by email or WhatsApp in the first instance. We can arrange a brief introductory call for no fee, or we can arrange an initial consultation.
